Metal heavyweights ROB ZOMBIE and MEGADETH have just announced a co-headlining tour guaranteed to raise the temperature on the planet. The trek, which marks the first time the two bands have toured together, kicks off Friday, May 11 in Holmdel, NJ and encompasses high-profile appearances at several rock festivals including M3 Rock Festival, Rock On The Range and wraps Saturday, May 26 at Rocklahoma. Rob Zombie on the bill for Rocklahoma 2012

Rocklahoma have announced their line-up for this year and yes you’ve guessed it, the ears will be bleed with the sound of “Zombie, Zombie, Zombie”.

Rocklahoma is a three-day festival which this year will be on May 25-27 at “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma.

Tickets for general admission and VIP will go on sale February 24 2012 (10am CST) via Ticketmaster and Rocklahoma.com.

Piggy D debuts The Haxans debut single

Piggy D, under his record label Black Victory Records, has joined forces with vocalist Shannon Gallant on the project The Haxans.

They have revealed the art for the debut single “Cold Blood”, with the track released on the Black Victory Store website ($1.99) and soon to be released iTunes. The track is produced by Chris Baseford and mixed by David Spreng. Piggy D said on his Facebook page “It only took us five years to get our broom sticks together. But here it is!”

Rob Zombie to co-headline Rock on the Range

Rob Zombie and the “greatest show on earth” will be back on the road this year and the first show to be announced is the Columbus Ohio Rock on the Range festival.

The band will be co-headliners over the festival weekend. Rob Zombie spoke to Blabbermouth and said “If you thought last time was a blast, then this time we are gonna blow your fucking mind”.

The festival will take place on May 18th, 19th and 20th and will also feature bands such as Lacuna Coil and fellow co-headliners Incubus, Shinedown and Marilyn Manson.

Tickets will be on sale Friday, Feb 10 at 10am EST (Tickets available through Ticketmaster & the Crew Stadium Box Office) with pre-sales starting: Feb 7 at 10am EST and ending: Feb 8 at 10pm EST. Bid on a signed poster from the Drop in the Bucket event

As you will remember, a couple of weeks ago Piggy D appeared at a special charity event for the Drop in the Bucket cause, with fellow rock stars Henry Rollins, John 5, Corey Taylor, Ginger Fish and more.

The event was to raise money and awareness for clean drinking water across the globe, especially in developing countries.

Drop in the Bucket on their Twitter page have announced an auction to bid on the posters for the event which has been signed by all the artists that took part that night.

Hey BV friends! Lets do something creative and fun for a great cause!!!

If you all can email us a photo of you in a creepy Halloween mask (neck up is all we need), we will use ALL of your photos on our next BV T-shirt design.

Every penny of the profits from this design will directly to the ASPCA! (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty To Animals)

So here is what you need to do!

Take a photo of yourself with any kind of creepy mask on (neck up). The spookier the better! (please note, by sending us this photo you are authorizing us to use it for sale to benefit a charity)
Email it by Jan 5, 2012 to blackvictorycharity@gmail.com with the words “Halloween photo” in the subject line
All photos must be a JPG format. No more than 10mb is required. The higher resolution the better!
One photo per person please, you may send more than one photo as long as it is of a different person

Piggy D, with John 5, Ginger Fish and friends for the Drop in the Bucket event

Piggy D joined fellow Zombie bandmates Ginger Fish and John 5 for a benefit concert in Hollywood last night. The ‘Drop in the Bucket‘ event was organized with Henry Rollins, Corey Taylor and others in aid of raising awareness and funds to build clean water wells for less fortunate children across the globe.

The concert, which took place in the famous Avalon Theater in Hollywood saw many musicians including also Dave Navarro and Scott Ian, lending their support and their talent to this worthy cause.
