The ultimate abomination. Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson team up for the ‘Twins of Evil’ US and European tour

ROB ZOMBIE AND MARILYN MANSON JOIN FORCES FOR “TWINS OF EVIL” U.S. AND EUROPEAN TOUR

KoRn’s Jonathan “J Devil” Davis will Provide Support on Many U.S. Dates

It had to happen.  Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie are hitting the road together this fall, co-headlining the “Twins of Evil” tour.  Debauchery, theatrics, ghoulish imagery, and a full-on assault of all the senses are what’s in store for fans when the tour kicks off, first in the U.S. and then with a 10-country sweep through Europe.

Kicking off September 28 when both Zombie and Manson co-headline the first day of the Desert Uprising Festival in Phoenix, Arizona, expect defiant rock’n'roll showmanship in the form of these unholy rollers with the first U.S. date wrapping in Dallas on Halloween, October 31.   For ticket on sale and purchasing info, log onto www.marilynmanson.com.or www.robzombie.com.

“Finally!  Why did the most obvious tour take so long to happen?  Who knows?  Who cares?  It’s happening now,” stated Zombie.  ”If good taste is the chief enemy of great art, then we should be able to fill the Louvre with this fucking tour.  Be prepared for something wicked this way a-coming.”

“I have sympathy for the Whore of Babylon that gave birth to these twins of evil, and this abomination of a tour,” says Marilyn Manson. “There is no babysitter, and there is no repairing her womb. If Rob Zombie doesn’t fuck you up, than I surely will.” ”Hide all drugs and firearms… I’m coming to town,” Manson stated. (more…)

Rob Zombie to perform at the first annual Desert Uprising show on September 28

Tickets for Desert Uprising are available to purchase on July 13.

Check out this image of Piggy D performing with Rob Zombie at the PNC Bank Arts Center on May 11 2012

Check out the fantastic shots from photographer David Turcotte of The Full Frame, who chronicled the show on May 11 at the PNC Bank Arts Center.

You can see the full portfolio of this shoot at http://thefullframe.org/2012/05/15/rob-zombie/

As David notes about the shoot and the show:

Unlike the simple and straight forward stage of openers Megadeth, Rob Zombie pulled all the stops with elaborate pyrotechnics, giant risers and backdrops. Between the skeleton mic stands, projected visuals and motorized monsters on stage, there wasn’t a dull moment in trying to capture the action provided by Rob Zombie and Co. Even the detail of Rob Zombie’s costume was something of a spectacle if you look closely enough.

Even more Zombie/Megadeth tour dates added

Rob Zombie bandRob Zombie fans, you will be pleased to know a few more dates have been added to the Tour Page for the forthcoming dates between Zombie and Megadeth.

The new dates are 13 May at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD and May 19th at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St Louis, MO.

SLAYER AND ROB ZOMBIE TO BRING HELL ON EARTH TO NORTH AMERICA
The Two Metal Icons Will Together for the First Time in More than a Decade

LOS ANGELES, CA – MONDAY, March 28, 2011 — Get ready for hell on earth, because for the first time since they tour together on Ozzfest 1999, Rob Zombie and Slayer are teaming up to hit the road, bringing a glorious purgatory to fans in 12 North American cities. The co-headline trek kicks off Wednesday, July 20 at the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 1 at 10:00AM local time. Tickets for all shows are available at the venues’ box office, and via the online outlets as listed below.

“We haven’t toured with Zombie since Ozzfest 1999, so you can expect no less than ‘hell on earth,’” said Slayer’s Kerry King. “Total sonic annihilation and a visual bludgeoning. Bring your own body bag…”

“Total destruction on stage and off is what this combination promises,” states Zombie, “Seriously, how much more Hell could you ask for? The answer is none more Hell.”
